Step 1: From your school's homepage, click on the Promote tab on the left sidebar
Step 2: Click on Social from the left side drawer
Step 3: Click "+ Create Posting Setup"
Step 4: You will see a list of any existing social media accounts you have connected
Step 5: To connect a new Facebook account,
a. Under “Connect a new social media account” select Facebook
b. This will take you to Facebook where you will be asked to select a Facebook Business Account that you want to connect.
If you do not have a Facebook Business Account or your Facebook Page is not tied to a Facebook Business Account, then you will need to first setup your Facebook Business Account and tie your Facebook Page to your business account. See Creating Facebook Business Account and Facebook Pages.
c. Select your Facebook Business Account and click Continue
d. On the next screen Select the Facebook Page(s) you want to allow Bound to post to and click Continue
e. Review permissions granted and click Save
f. On the confirmation page click Got it
g. This will take you back to Bound and you will now see your newly connected Facebook Business Account in the list of existing social media account connections
Step 6: Click on the appropriate Facebook Business Account
Step 7: This will expand to reveal all Facebook Pages you have granted access to Bound. Click the Page for which you would like to create a Posting Setup.
Step 8: You will be taken to the Posting Setup configuration page. From here choose all of the appropriate activities and automatic posting types that you would like to configure.
Step 9: Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Glossary
Social Media Account - A social media account in Bound is the connection between Bound and a social media service. When a connection is made to a social media service this account represents the social media user and the required access tokens to communicate with the social media service.
Posting Setup - A posting setup is a configuration between a Social Media Account and a school and its various activities. A posting setup is required in order to post any social cards or messages on a social media service. Facebook Business Accounts can have many Facebook Pages and or Instagram Accounts and each Facebook page or Instagram Account can have its own Posting Setup. Twitter Accounts are only able to have one Posting Setup per account.
