Creating a Hy-Tek Export file to be used to upload results

  1. Within Hy-Tek you must select File/Export/Semi-colon Delimited Results

  2. After selecting that, Hy-Tek will prompt for the results you would like to export (review this screen but most likely you will not need to change anything).

  3. Hy-Tek will then prompt to save the export file. You can choose the directory that you want to save the file to but you cannot change the file name. After Hy-Tek saves the file it will tell you the file name (it will be something like reslt001.csv where 001 could be another number). It is important that you remember the location and name of the file when uploading to our system.

  4. Once the file has been saved you can utilize the instructions below to upload the results into the event in the Bound platform form below.

  5. If you want you can upload the file through out the meet and our system will automatically overwrite the prior results you uploaded.

Importing/Uploading Cross Country Results into Bound

If you are the host of the meet or the timer of the event, find the event on your Calendar, then click on the 3 dots and select "Meet Upload".

There are two different uploads types:

Method #1: If you are using Hytek or MeetPro, you will click on Choose File

Method #2: If you are using any other results platform you will select Custom Upload. If you are using Custom Upload, please email the Results to results@gobound.com.

Details on Method #1:

Click on Choose File, then find the .csv file for the meet. Click open, then select review.

You will then match up the teams between the Hytek File and their Name in Bound.

NOTE: Make sure your date also matches with the correct date of the meet. If this does not you may need to update your Hytek File to show the correct date.

If you have a Varsity event that has a different distance (meaning NOT 5K), you can select that corrected distance in the Cross Country Event Drop down. This will change the default distance from 5K to whatever you choose. Those times then would not count towards the leaderboards but will get saved for the athletes and team stats.

If you want to change the name of a division you can do this here as well by typing in the Division Name.

Once you are finished you can select Finish Import. And you should receive the following message.

If you are a timer and would like to create a “Timer’s Account” please email results@gobound.com.
