In order to bring in audio from your mixer, you need to convert your audio signal to a TRRS (Tip/Ring/Ring/Sleeve) signal. This will allow an iOS device to receive the audio input from your mixer. Below are a few options you can use to convert your audio signal:

If you have an iOS device without a headphone jack, please follow the instructions below.

Your standard Lightning to Headphone Jack cable will work but will be highly unreliable. We recommend the following method because you'll get stereo sound and be able to charge your phone.

You'll need Apple's Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and a Sabrent AU-MMSA USB Stereo 3D Sound Adapter (Black) The Lightning to USB3 will allow you to plug in an audio source with the Sabrent unit and charge your iPhone at the same time.

Connect the Lightning to USB 3 to your iPhone or iPad and then the Sabrent AU-MMSA USB to the USB port of the Lightning Connector.

Plug your audio input into the red jack. The green jack is for headphone monitoring.

Run a quick test on your camera app. If the video has the sound you would like, the Broadcaster app should have that same sound.
