BoxCast allows you to download your live streams directly to your computer or get a download copy link to send to someone in your organization. You can also export a broadcast to YouTube or Vimeo with the click of a button.

Start by going to your Boxcast Dashboard and clicking on Past Broadcasts. Next, click on the broadcast you wish to download.

On the right-hand side of the screen, click on Download or Export Recording.

A pop-up window will appear and you will need to click Generate Download. Once generated, click Download Video to download the MP4 to your desktop, or Copy Video Link to copy a link to your clipboard that can be emailed to someone else for downloading the file.

NOTE: The download as generated expires after 30 days, while the video link itself expires after roughly 6-8 hours. BoxCast highly advises against forwarding a link directly to viewers and/or clients.

Common Questions

Q: How long do I have to download a live stream?
