Barcoding ensures your samples are received and processed accurately at Material Bank’s Logistics Hub.
You can choose one of two options for creating barcodes:
Option 1: Provide your own barcodes
Create your own barcodes and apply them to your sample labels before shipping.
Requirements
Minimum barcode size: 8 × 25 mm or 1 in x 1/2 in
Barcodes must be scannable upon arrival
Barcodes should scan to the SKU for that product

We recommend professional tools like BarTender, or you can use free generators such as:
Option 2: Material Bank applies barcodes
Our team can generate and apply barcodes to your samples for a fee of 0.15 cents per piece.
Note: These barcodes do not include sample-level details such as product name or description.
Before you ship
Once your barcode labels are ready:
Export your barcode file as a PDF
Share the file with our team for validation
Our team will confirm that barcodes are scannable before you proceed with printing
