Bringing new products to Material Bank is a multi-step process that ensures your offerings are not only available for sampling but also actively promoted to the design professionals who use our platform every day. From uploading your SKUs to participating in targeted marketing opportunities, the steps below will guide you through how to get your products front and center.
1. Add New Products to the Catalog Interface
Begin by uploading your new SKUs to the Catalog Interface. This is the system that powers how your products are displayed and searched on Material Bank.

Make sure all relevant data is included to ensure accuracy and discoverability.
2. Send Inventory and Upload Your ASN
After uploading your products, send your inventory to the Material Bank distribution center and upload your Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN). This step ensures that:
We can receive your inventory without delay
Your products become sample-ready and visible on the platform
Timely inventory and ASN submission are critical for minimizing lag between product upload and availability.
3. Explore Marketing Opportunities in Brand Central
Once your products are live and inventory is in place, head to the Marketing section within Brand Central. From there, you can participate in several programs designed to boost product exposure and engage the Material Bank community:
a. Content Series Marketing Events
Submit your products for upcoming marketing events to be featured in editorial-style promotions tailored around themes, product categories, or design trends. These features go out via social media, email, or on materialbank.com.
Here are the steps in how to submit in Brand Central:
· Click on the calendar icon
· Select Marketing Events
· Click the + sign to submit certain skus you'd like us to consider
· Click search to add in your skus
The marketing section in Brand Central is a self-serve option affording you the opportunity to submit requests as many times as you'd like.
b. New Product Features
We offer additional marketing for new skus that have been added to Material Bank within the last 90 days.
If your products are live on Material Bank and would like to participate, send the following assets to brandservices@materialbank.com:
2–4 sentences of marketing copy
2–3 high-quality images (room scenes, installations, or styled shots)
List of SKUs and the name of your collection
Please note that promotions are limited to collections of 5 SKUs or more.
c. Checkout Collateral Program
The Checkout Collateral Program gives you a strategic touchpoint at the moment members place a sample order. This program allows you to insert printed materials—like brochures or promotional flyers—into their order boxes, creating a tangible reminder of your brand.
It’s an ideal way to:
Reinforce your message at a high-intent moment
Cross-promote related products or collections
Provide additional product insights or installation inspiration
