Team Setup & Login Troubleshooting Guide

This guide provides instructions on how to add new users to Brand Central, accept an invitation, troubleshoot login issues, and ensure important emails are delivered correctly.


Adding New Users to Brand Central

  1. Navigate to the Teams tab

  2. Click “Add New” in the top right corner

  3. Complete the invitation form as prompted

  4. Select a role for the new user:

    • Brand Owner
      Can access all areas of Brand Central

    • Brand Admin
      Can access all areas of Brand Central

    • Brand Rep
      Can only view leads shared with them. If no leads are shared, Brand Central will appear blank.

✅ Once submitted, the new user will receive an email invitation to complete their registration.


Accepting the Brand Central Invitation

Steps to Accept the Invitation:

  1. Open the invitation email and click the link to set a password. (Note: the link expires after 24 hours.)

  2. Click [Sign In] and enter your credentials

⚠️ Important Notes:

· The registration must be completed via the invitation link—this process cannot be bypassed.

· Check spam or quarantine folders if the invitation is not found.

· Brand Central does not support mobile access at this time; use a desktop browser.


Forgot Password / Link Expired?

If a user didn’t receive the initial invite or the link has expired:

  1. Click [Sign In] > [Forgot Password]

  2. Follow the steps to reset your password


Still Not Receiving the Email? Follow These Steps:

✅ Step 1: Check Spam or Junk Folder

  • Look for messages from bc@materialbank.com

  • If found, mark it as “Not Spam” and move it to your inbox

✅ Step 2: Add to Safe Sender List

Follow the instructions for your email provider:

Outlook / Office 365

  1. Click the ⚙️ (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings

  2. Go to Mail → Junk Email

  3. Under Safe senders and domains, add: bc@materialbank.com

  4. Click Save

Gmail

  1. Go to Settings > See all settings

  2. Navigate to Filters and Blocked Addresses

  3. Click Create a new filter

  4. Enter bc@materialbank.com in the From field

  5. Click Create filter and select:

    • Never send it to Spam

    • Always mark it as important

  6. Click Create Filter & Save

Apple Mail (Mac, iPhone, iPad)

  1. Open Mail > Preferences

  2. Click the Rules tab > Add Rule

  3. Set condition: From contains bc@materialbank.com

  4. Action: Move Message to Inbox

  5. Click OK to save

Yahoo Mail

  1. Go to Settings > More Settings

  2. Click Filters > Add New Filter

  3. Name: Material Bank Emails

  4. Under From, enter bc@materialbank.com

  5. Action: Move to Inbox

  6. Click Save

Other Email Providers

  • Check for a “Safe Senders” or “Allow List” option and add bc@materialbank.com

  • Contact your IT support if you're unsure how to proceed
