In light of the uncertainty we all face in our daily lives with the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I wanted to reassure you that the BeRightBack team is working proactively to get on top of the travel issues caused by the virus. This help centre is updated regularly and will keep you abreast of the situation as it progresses.
Our Number One Priority is You
Our absolute number one priority is the safety of our customers and hotel partners. Every decision made over the next few weeks will be solely focused on achieving this outcome, regardless of how much of an impact it may have on our company.
Travel Restrictions from the WHO, FCO and Governments
The BRB team has set-up a special unit to monitor the situation daily, to keep a close eye on travel restrictions imposed by governments and to check recommendations from the WHO and FCO. At this stage, only information from these three sources can be relied upon to make decisions regarding your trips.
Protection of Your Trips
Any trip booked through BRB is covered by the Package Travel Regulations under ATOL, so in the event that travel restrictions are put in place by a specific government, as has been the case with many countries in recent months, or that the FCO advice for your trip changes to advise against 'all but essential travel', you're covered and your funds are not in danger.
In the instances where this happens, we'll be able to cancel your trip and re-credit your BRB account with all funds used. This would give you the ability to book another trip later in the year or 2021 once travel restrictions have been lifted. We’re all going to need a holiday after this!
If the government of the country you are due to travel to with BRB have not yet put travel restrictions in place or if the FCO has not yet advised against 'all but essential travel', your trip is OK to go ahead as planned and will not be refundable under ATOL.
