Upgrading from Breakthrough 5.x to 6.x: Understanding the New Category Layout

In Breakthrough 6.0, we’ve introduced a more intuitive way to organize content using horizontally scrolling categories. Unlike Breakthrough 5.x, where categories listed content in a vertical format, the new system enhances the user experience by allowing content to be easily browsed within a category via horizontal scrolling. This reduces clicks and makes navigation much smoother for users.

To provide a seamless experience for your users, we recommend migrating your collections into subcategories under the relevant categories. This ensures that all content within a category is neatly organized and horizontally scrollable, minimizing the number of clicks users need to access content.

To simplify the transition, we’ve added a Migrate button within collections. This tool allows you to easily move all content from a collection into a subcategory under the appropriate category.

Yes! Collections can still function as folders or subcategories under a category. However, we strongly recommend using subcategories directly for a more intuitive and organized experience.
