Understanding Content Types in Your Breakthrough App
Breakthrough offers multiple content formats to help you deliver engaging experiences to your users. Each content type serves a different purpose, whether it’s a single class, structured course, guided program, or customizable routine. Here’s a breakdown of each type:

Classes (Audio & Video)
Best for: Standalone content, quick sessions, or on-demand access.
A Class is a single piece of content that users can watch or listen to anytime. Classes can be:

  • Video Classes – Guided video lessons (e.g., yoga flows, meditation sessions, fitness workouts).

  • Audio Classes – Voice-guided sessions without video (e.g., meditations, breathwork, affirmations).

Example: A 20-minute guided meditation session available anytime in the app.

Courses
Best for: Sequential, day-by-day learning experiences.
A Course is a structured journey where content is delivered sequentially. Users progress step by step, unlocking content daily. Courses can include videos, routines, or a mix of both.

Example: A "21-Day Meditation Course" or a "30-Day Yoga Challenge", where each day unlocks a new guided meditation or workout session.

Programs
Best for: Collections of non-sequential content.
A Program is a flexible collection of videos, PDFs, and resources that don’t have to be followed in order. Users can jump around and choose content as needed rather than progressing day-by-day.

Example: A workshop series or a self-paced course that includes both videos and PDFs, such as a "Nutrition & Wellness Program" or a standalone eBook for mindful eating.

Routines
Best for: Step-by-step exercise or stretching flows.
A Routine is a structured sequence of exercises or guided actions that users follow step-by-step. Routines can be made up of timed exercises, repetitions, or sets, making them great for workouts and stretching flows.

Example: A "Full-Body Mobility Routine", where users follow a sequence of stretches, yoga poses, and strength exercises with timers or rep-based sets.
