Whether you’re just getting started or your app needs a boost, this playbook gives you the exact actions successful creators take every month to grow their community, increase revenue, and build lasting engagement.

NOTE: This article covers the basics! Of course there are lot of other strategies and tactics which absolutely work but you need to have the basics down first!

🧠 First, the Mindset

Think of your app as your online studio — it’s not just a product, it’s a living part of your brand. Just like you wouldn’t open a physical space and leave it unattended, your app thrives when you show up, update it, and keep the energy alive.

You don’t need to do everything every day — you just need to be consistent.

The most successful creators on our platform aren’t necessarily the biggest names. They’re the ones who keep their audience engaged, excited, and invited back in.

4 step playbook to growth your

1. Launch a New Challenge Every Month

2. Add New Content Monthly

3. Promote the App on Instagram/Social Media Weekly

4. Track How many New Customers you have Weekly

Details:

1. Launch a New Challenge Every Month

Challenges are one of the most powerful ways to re-engage users and create momentum. When people have a goal — even for just 5 or 7 days — they’re more likely to come back, build habits, and invite others.

How to do it:

  • Go to the Breakthrough Portal > App Settings > Challenges and create a new day-based challenge.

  • Pick a theme: “7-Day Reset,” “Morning Boost,” “Flexibility Focus,” etc.

  • Announce it on your Instagram and in your app’s Community tab.

  • Mention it in stories, reels, and feed posts. Make it feel exciting and time-sensitive.

Tip: You can reuse content you already have to structure your challenges.

2. Add New Content Monthly

Fresh content signals to your users that your app is alive and worth revisiting. Even one new class or routine per month can drive real reactivation and retention.

What counts as content?

  • A new video class

  • A new audio meditation or lesson

  • A stretch or fitness routine

  • A simple journaling prompt or reflection video

How to do it:

  • Upload new content through the Breakthrough Portal

  • Then talk about it on Instagram and announce it in your app’s community to build excitement.

3. Promote the App on Instagram Weekly

Your followers won’t know what’s happening inside the app unless you tell them — and tell them often. Most people need to see something 7–10 times before they take action. That’s why consistent promotion matters.

How to promote:

  • Use IG Stories 2–3 times a week to mention the app

  • Show when you’re uploading new content

  • Share wins or testimonials from users

  • Highlight new features or announcements

Example posts:

  • “New class just dropped in the app!”

  • “7-Day Reset Challenge starts today — join me!”

  • “Just added something special for your morning routine… check it out in the app.”

4. Track New Customers Weekly

Stay connected to your progress by checking your data. This helps you understand what’s working and when to double down.

How to do it:

  • Go to RevenueCat and check the “New Customers” tab once a week.

  • Look for spikes after you post, promote, or launch something new.

This helps you:

  • Stay motivated

  • Adjust your marketing approach

  • Celebrate growth, even in small wins

💡 Final Thought

Your app is more than a container for content — it’s your digital home. When you treat it like a living extension of your practice, your community will feel that and keep showing up.

Stay consistent. Stay visible. Keep inviting your audience in.
