How to Set Up Email App Activity Alerts in the Breakthrough Portal

You asked for better visibility into what’s happening inside your app, and it’s here.

We’ve launched Email Alerts inside the Breakthrough Portal so you can receive real-time notifications for key in-app activity.

You can now configure alerts under:

Account → Alerts


What You Can Get Notified About

Choose which important events trigger an email notification:

  • New User Signup
    Get notified whenever someone creates a new account in your app.

  • New Purchase
    Receive an alert when a user makes a subscription or purchase.

  • New Community Post
    Stay on top of engagement by getting notified when a user creates a community post.

You can toggle each alert type on or off depending on what matters most to you.


Add Up to 5 Recipients

You can add up to 5 email addresses to receive alerts.

This is helpful if:

  • You have a VA or team member managing community

  • Your operations manager tracks revenue activity

  • Multiple team members need visibility into growth

Simply add the recipient’s:

  • Email address

  • First name

  • Last name

Then click Add Recipient.

At least one recipient is required for alerts to be active.

How to Set It Up

  1. Log into your Breakthrough Portal

  2. Navigate to Account → Alerts

  3. Toggle on the events you want notifications for

  4. Add up to 5 email recipients

  5. Save
