We highly recommend having a new photo shoot done for your app content at launch to give your new custom app a professional and polished look!
We recommend keeping a consistent background, theme, and aesthetic for these photos. Here's some tips!
Make sure the background is not busy or distracting. You should be the focus! Feel free to take photos inside or outside to fit your vibe.
Please refer to the app launch content document to think about the names for your classes, categories, and challenges. This will help you identify what type of photos you may like and how many you need!
Photo Shapes and Ratios used in the app:
Square 1:1 for class & routine thumbnails
please note, the same image is used when you open the class, in a landscape ratio. Therefore make sure it is taken in landscape and can be cropped to square.

Vertical: for onboarding carousel & daily quotes

Based upon the type of content you plan to have:
20-30: Class cover photos - landscape that can crop to square

For the best user experience these should be < 30 seconds and without sound

Note: If the dimensions are not exactly like above, it will still work. The aspect ratio (square or rectangle shape) of the dimensions is the hard requirement.

The picture should be without any overlay shading or text. The app automatically adds the relevant text and overlay (if that applies). Collections do not have overlays. This is configurable for the app!
