A user's experience on an app can make a huge difference in success metrics like conversions, renewals, and referrals. As app owners, we have to ensure that not only are users enjoying their experience on the app, they have to be benefiting from the full value that the app offers.

Benefits

  1. It will create a better understanding of how to use the app

  2. Creates better direction for segmented groups (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

  3. Your intended goal for different categories is properly communicated

  4. Enhanced experience for the user

What you need to do

  1. Create a "Start Here" Category

    1. Make sure it is listed first under categories

  2. Create a subcategory "Welcome/Start Here/ Great To Meet You" under the "Start Here" category

  3. Under the subcategory record a class that explains how to make use of the app

    1. Show them around the app with a screen share

    2. Explain the differences between the categories

    3. Speak about the community feature and how you would like people to interact within it

    4. Explain the differences or difficulty levels between the challenges

    5. Discuss the user profile as a tool to keep them motivated

    6. Benefits of starting with a certain category

    7. REMIND USERS TO TURN ON DAILY REMINDERS

  4. For "Start Here" categories you can add content such as:

    1. Video or PDF for how to use the app

      1. This can be either a Class or Program. If the how to use is only PDF then use Program.

    2. Any courses that users should do first

    3. FAQs perhaps in a collection
