CleverTap User Properties & Events

CleverTap (if you have it setup) has detailed realtime information from your app. Below are the details that you will see about user activity.

User Properties

Each user will have the below user properties that you can use in tailoring your emails and setting up conditions to target specific users.

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Subscription Level (1 Month, 1 Year, 3 Month, 6 Month, Lifetime) - this is the duration level

  • Subscription Status (Trial, Active, Cancelled, Expired) - this is the latest status

  • <Onboarding question & answers> Starts with prefix "Onboarding-"

  • Purchase Platform (iOS, Android, web) - platform where the purchase was made

  • Subscription Expiration Date (Date time format)

  • Streak (count of the active user Streak)

Events

Events show up for specific user in real-time, as they are happening. You can use these events to create dashboards and also create triggers to send a email/push/in-app sequence. The events are grouped into the below types:

  1. App activity lifecycle

  2. Purchase lifecycle

21-day Streak

When user hits a 21 day streak

100-day Streak

When user hits a 100 day streak

Course Progress

This event will fire everytime a user has a course in progress

Purchase Lifecycle

Below are the events that happen in a users purchase lifecycle

Initial Purchase

Event name when user initially purchases paid subscription

Trial Started

Event name when user initiates trial

Trial Cancelled

Event name when user didn't subscribe after a free trial

Trial Converted

Event name when user subscribed after a free trial

Renewal

Event name when paid subscription renews

Cancelled

Event name when user cancels their paid subscription

Purchase of non-subscription

Event name when user makes a non subscription purchase

Expired

Event name when subscription expires

Billing Issue

Event name when there has been a problem trying to charge the user

Changed Subscription

Event name when user has changed the product of their subscription
