Custom fields are a great place to store extra information that is relevant to all people across the company.

Note: only HR users can enter or edit details in the custom fields boxes. The custom fields will also only show if there is an entry in the box.

To add custom fields go to Configure > Settings > Modules then select the Custom fields checkbox:

You can add up to five fields, the first three are reserved for text and the last two are for date format only. Click update modules when you're done.

The custom fields will then be available on the person's profile under the Custom tab:

HR users can use the edit (pencil) icon to enter relevant information for the particular person.

Please note: As a HR user, you can enable whether or not employees can see the content of the custom fields via Configure > Settings > Change what people can see and do:
