Long Service Leave

You asked, we answered! Breathe Payroll users can now enable Payroll to accumulate Long Service Leave balances.

This allows you to assign an Employee to accrue LSL, maintain Liabilities, and choose to pay out LSL upon Termination.

To enable LSL for your employees you will find this under Employees > Employee Details > Leave > Accrue LSL - Ensure this is showing YES

You can start this as a 0 balance or add an opening balance

You can also see Long Service Leave Balance and Long Service Leave Provision under Payroll > Reports > Pay Cycle Reports > Leave Report


Enhancements & Improvements

  • Unpaid Leaves now always appear in the Payslip despite of Payslip Suppress Settings

  • Updated the Protected Earnings Amount to match 01 Jan 2022 - 31 Dec 2022’s new figure of $429.98

  • Renamed Work Cover - Full to Workers Compensation Full

  • Renamed Work Cover - Top Up to Workers Compensation Top Up

  • Resolved an issue so that STP Submission will complete for any Reinstated Employee in Payroll

  • Resolved an issue so that the right financial year shows in the STP Year End Report
