The Search Alerts & Criteria Page in Brevitas allows users to set up and manage custom alerts based on their property search criteria. These alerts automatically notify users of new listings or updates that match their preferences, saving time and ensuring they don’t miss any important opportunities. This page also allows users to modify the frequency and specifics of each alert to better suit their needs.

Key Sections and Features

Introduction Section

At the top of the page, the introduction provides a clear purpose of the tool:

Search Alerts & Criteria: This feature helps users by performing automated searches and delivering new listings that match their needs directly to their inbox. The system allows for various filters, so the alerts are highly tailored.

My Search Alerts

This section contains a list of all the search alerts the user has created, displayed in a table format. Each row in the table represents a separate search alert with the following fields:

1. Title

• The custom name of the search alert (e.g., “Multifamily LA,” “West Coast Multifamily”). This title is set by the user and helps them identify what the alert covers.

2. New Listings

• This column shows the number of new listings that match the search alert criteria since the last update. For example, the Multifamily LA alert has 7 new listings, while West Coast Multifamily has 190 new matches. These numbers provide a snapshot of new activity related to the user’s search criteria.

3. Frequency

• The frequency at which the user receives email alerts for new listings. The options typically include Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. In the screenshot, all search alerts are set to Daily, ensuring users get prompt updates.

4. Market

• Indicates whether the search applies to Sale, Lease, or All markets. For example, these alerts are set to Sale - All, meaning the user is interested in all sale listings within their selected criteria.

5. Location

• This column specifies the geographical area of interest for each alert. For example:

Multifamily LA targets listings in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

West Coast Multifamily covers a broader region including Idaho, California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada.

California Multifamily focuses specifically on California.

Criteria focuses on San Francisco, CA, USA.

6. Price Range

• If the user has specified a price range for their search, it will appear here. For example, the Multifamily LA search alert is set for properties with a $12M Max price range. If no price range is specified, this column will be empty.

7. Types

• This column shows the type of property or asset the user is searching for. In the case of Multifamily LA, the alert is set for Duplex/Triplex/Fourplex and Garden Low Rise types. For other alerts like West Coast Multifamily, the property type is simply Multifamily.

Managing Search Alerts

For each search alert, users have the option to modify or delete them:

1. Edit

• Clicking the Edit button next to a search alert allows the user to update the criteria for that alert. Users can modify locations, property types, price ranges, and the frequency of notifications.

2. Delete

• The Delete button allows the user to remove a search alert entirely if it’s no longer relevant. Deleting an alert stops any future notifications related to that search.

Create New Search Alert

At the bottom of the page, there’s a prominent green button labeled Create New Search Alert. This option allows users to set up a new search alert from scratch. When creating a new alert, users will go through a process where they can define:

Locations: The cities, states, or regions they are interested in.

Property Types: Such as Multifamily, Retail, Office, Land, etc.

Price Range: Minimum and maximum prices for properties.

Keywords: To narrow down the results to more specific listings.

Notification Frequency: How often they want to be notified about new matching listings (daily, weekly, etc.).

Practical Use of Search Alerts

Tailored Alerts: Users can create highly specific alerts based on property types, locations, and price ranges, ensuring they only receive relevant updates.

Efficient Market Monitoring: By setting the notification frequency to daily or weekly, users can stay on top of new listings without actively searching the platform each day.

Modify as Needed: Alerts can be easily edited or deleted, giving users flexibility as their search criteria or market focus changes.

This Search Alerts & Criteria Page provides users with an automated way to track properties that meet their specific needs and ensures they remain informed about new opportunities in the real estate market.
