Welcome to BRICKS. This tutorial covers the third step of the operating system: creating a simple display application for your display device. By completing this small chapter, as shown in step three of the illustration below, you will easily learn the basic installation and setup of the BRICKS cloud smart display.

Step 1: "Open to Create Your First Display Application"
On the BRICKS Controller page, click the [APPLICATION] tab at the top, then click the [New Application] button at the bottom left to start creating your first display application.
Step 2: "Basic Application Settings - Choose a Template"
On the New Application pop-up page, you can set the application name by selecting and naming your app. Under "Create with Example," choose the [Slideshow] template, then click the [Save] button at the bottom.
Step 3: "Bind Application to Display Device"
Next, go to the Application tab and select "Bind Device [Selected 0]" in the Operation column to start the process of binding the first display device to the application.
On the application information page, set the device you want to bind.
After clicking Selected 0, a page will open for selecting the display device to bind. In the list on the left, you will see the name of the display device you just successfully streamed to. Please select that device from the list. When the selection is successful, a colored outline will appear in the center of the screen under Device Viewports, and the device name in the left list will be highlighted. At this point, click the [Update and Close] button at the bottom left to cast your first display application to your display device.
Select the display device to bind your display application to.
