🕐 Estimated time to complete this tutorial: 3–5 minutes
Step 1: Save Editing Results
In the previous section, we confirmed the desired results in the preview mode. Now, we are ready to deploy the application to the display device.
First, click the [ 💾 ] Save button in the upper-right corner, then click the [ ← ] Back button in the upper-left corner to return.
Step 2: Bind a Display Device
In the Operation column, click Bind Device [ Selected 0 ] to enter the display device selection screen.
Step 3: Edit the Display Range of the Device
Remember the first section of this chapter, where we learned how to transfer a device from the Default Workspace to this newly created workspace?
Select the transferred display device, then use the mouse to drag the corners of the Device ViewPorts in the center to adjust the display range. If you shrink the Device ViewPorts to the right side according to the device’s aspect ratio, the device will only display the content within the selected viewport area.
With multiple devices, you can use ViewPorts to splice together sections of the canvas. After configuration, click [ Update ] to synchronize the display content on the device immediately.
Step 4: Try Splicing with Multiple Devices
If you have two display devices available, you can configure two ViewPorts to form the full canvas across both devices, and test how the content is displayed.
Congratulations! You have now learned the fundamental concepts of deploying applications to devices.
The next chapter will introduce the various basic components.
