Welcome to BRICKS.
This tutorial covers the fourth step in working with Generators: multi-mode trigger combinations. By completing this chapter, you will easily master the fundamental use of Generators in the BRICKS Cloud Intelligent Display.

πŸ• Estimated time to complete this tutorial: 2–3 minutes

  • Step 1: Configure the Reset Function on the Countdown Text Element

In this section, we will add a reset function to the countdown Generator so that it can operate in a continuous loop without interruption. The first step is to open the On Press event of the countdown text element and click [ Edit ] to add a new event.

  • Step 2: Set Up Two Event Actions

When the countdown text element is tapped, the countdown Generator may still be running. To handle this, we need to add two actions: first, a TICK CANCEL action to stop the current countdown, and then a TICK START action to restart it. This ensures the countdown timer resets correctly under any circumstance. After configuration, click [ Save ] to store the changes.

  • Step 3: Preview on Device

Once the setup is complete, save the application and preview it on a device to confirm that tapping correctly resets the countdown Generator.

  • Congratulations! You have now learned the basic concepts of multi-mode trigger combinations.

The next chapter will introduce external data integration.
