The Device section in a workspace is responsible for managing the account-bound display devices. Detailed configurations can be applied to each device individually.


  • Get App
    Provides the download link for the Bricks Launcher, which must be installed on display devices.

  • Bind Device
    After installing Bricks Launcher on the display device, a QR code and a passcode will be displayed. In the Bricks Controller platform, click [ Bind Device ] and enter the passcode from the display device to complete the binding process.

Device ID

Device Identifier (ID) – cannot be modified

Device Name

Device Name – this is the system-read device name and cannot be changed

Device Display Name (Editable)

Application Update

Control Device

Remotely control the display device to perform the following actions:

  • System Menu: Open the system menu

  • System Information: View system information

  • Debug Panel: Open the debugging interface

  • Automation Panel

  • Toggle Logging in Debug Panel

  • Refresh Application: Reload the application

  • Logout: Sign out of the device account

Current Bound Application

View the application currently bound to the device. Click to open the application editing page directly.

Download config file

Download the current configuration profile of the display device

Remove

Unbind and remove this device from the current account

Device Status

Last Launch Time

Display the last time the Bricks Launcher app was opened.

Last Alive Time

Display the last time the Bricks Launcher was still running and connected.

Device Information

Unique ID

Display the UID of the device

Device Type

Display the device type, such as Handset, Tablet, or TV

Operation System

Display the operating system type of the device, such as Android or Apple

Operation System Version

Display the operating system version number of the device

Current Version of Launcher

Display the Bricks Launcher version number of the device

Memory Usage

Display the memory usage status of the device

Last update time of Launcher

Display the last time the Bricks Launcher was updated on the device

Screen: Main

Is master

Display whether it is the primary screen

Orientation

Display the current orientation of the device, such as Portrait or Landscape

Width

Display the resolution width of the device

Height

Display the resolution height of the device

Scale

Display the configured display scaling ratio of the device

Font Scale

Display the font scaling ratio

Is touch available

Display whether the device currently supports touch input
