Keeping test results updated in BridgeAthletic is essential for tracking athlete progress and tailoring programs effectively. BridgeAthletic provides several convenient ways to input or update test data, whether for individual athletes or entire teams. Below, we’ll detail how to update test results using three different methods:

  1. Updating from the Team Page or Athlete Page

  2. Checking 1RM results in the Program Builder

  3. Saving Tracked and Required data as Test Results in the Activity Report

1. Updating Test Results from the Team Page

The Team Page allows you to update test results in bulk for an entire roster, saving time when working with large groups.

  1. Navigate to the Team Page

  2. Enter Test Results for a single athlete or an entire roster

    • In the team view, locate and click on the 'Enter Test Results' option

  3. Select the Test to Update

    • Choose the specific test category (e.g., vertical jump, 1RM squat) you want to update.

  4. Enter Test Results

    • This action enables editable fields for all athletes in the roster.

  5. Save Changes

    • Once all updates are made, click Save to finalize the changes.

    • The new data will automatically update in each athlete's profile.

2. Updating Test Results from the Program Builder

Updating from the Program Builder allows you to view and easily update test results directly from the program you are working on, ensuring the data is integrated with their training. This is especially important when using our percentage-based parameters (%1RME, %Difficulty, and %1RME linked)

  1. Access the Program Builder

    • Navigate to the Library from the homepage

    • Select an existing program or create a new one for the athlete or team.

  2. Locate or Add Test Blocks or Sets

    • Add a Test Block or open an existing one within the program. Coaches will use Test blocks/sets to record metrics like 1RM lifts, sprint times, or jump heights. Be sure to mark sets as Tracked or Required to pull data into the Activity Report.

  3. Input Results

    • Click 'Check 1RME' to view whether or not athletes have saved Test Results. This is crucial if you are programming with the %1RM weight parameter as it will calculate strictly from the saved results. If an athlete does not have a saved result, then they will be presented with 0 lbs/kgs

    • Enter the updated test results directly into the fields for each test exercise.

  4. Save Changes

    • Click the Save button to ensure the test results are stored.

    • The updated data will reflect in the athlete’s Test Results module. You can also verify this by clicking Check 1RME again in the builder.

  5. Verify Updates

    • Open the athlete’s profile or testing history to confirm that the new test results are recorded.

3. Updating Test Results from the Activity Report

The Activity Report allows you to track and update test data from Tracked and Required sets in real-time.

  1. Open the Activity Report

    • Go to the Activity Report section by from the Home Page, Team Page, or Athlete Page

    • Click on the specific session or activity that includes the test data you want to update.

  2. Locate Tracked or Required Sets

    • Identify the Tracked Sets or Required Sets within the activity report that you would like to save as an updated Test Result

  3. Update the Data

    • Click on the option to 'Update Test Result' for the specific tracked or required set.

  4. Save and Confirm

Tips for Managing Test Data

  • Consistency: Always ensure you are using consistent measurement units (e.g., lbs or kgs).

  • Bulk Entry Efficiency: Use the Team Page for bulk updates to streamline data management for large groups.

  • Integrated Tracking: Use the Program Builder and Activity Report to maintain an up-to-date link between test data and training progress.

  • Exporting Data: Export test data reports periodically to analyze progress over time.
