Finding the Program and Phase Analysis chart:
Program Analysis:
You can access the Program Analysis chart from the program page by clicking the graph icon to the right of the program name.
Phase Analysis:
You can access the Phase Analysis chart from the program page by scrolling down and clicking the graph icon to the right of the phases.
Understanding the Program and Phase Analysis chart:
There are three parameter options for the analysis: 1RME, Difficulty, and Bodyweight (BW).
The parameter selected is what will be used to calculate volume, intensity and load within the program or phase. You will want to select the parameter you are using to prescribe weight to have data accurately pulled into the chart.
Key Terms:
Volume = the sum of all prescribed reps
Intensity = Number of reps x Intensity% per rep / Total reps
Load = Number of reps x Intensity% per rep
This analysis chart is separated into 3 horizontal sections:
Top section:
Intensity Breakdown chart
Average Volume, Intensity, and Load information
Note: The “Other” category represents data from sets not associated with the selected option. As shown below, “Other” is representative of sets not prescribed with %1RME.
You can click Other in the chart key of each section to turn it off.
Middle section:
Timeline of the Total Volume and Average Intensity across the program or phase.
As shown below, each phase contains 3 weeks.
The vertical bars represent Total Volume for each week. The grey portion is the total volume for %1RME (the selected parameter). The blue portion is volume prescribed with other parameters.
The purple dots represent the average intensity for each week.
Bottom section:
Total Volume: Each block represents the total reps for that week.
Average Intensity: Each block represents the average intensity for that week.
Total Load: Each block represents the total load for that week.
Building an effective program starts with understanding how each phase contributes to your athletes' overall progression. The Program and Phase Analysis charts provide an in-depth look at volume, intensity, and load - giving you the insights needed to adjust and optimize your programs. Use this tool to ensure every set, workout, and phase is intentional, helping your athletes stay on track and perform at their best.
