Your team structure in Bridge should reflect how you organize your athletes and deliver programming. When you create a product, you'll select which team athletes automatically join upon purchase. This keeps your roster organized and ensures athletes receive the right programming from day one.
Team Structure Examples
Your teams can be organized in various ways to match your coaching methodology:
By Programming Type: Separate teams for strength training, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, etc.
By Goal: Teams organized around specific objectives like fat loss, muscle gain, or athletic performance
By Experience Level: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced teams
By Schedule: Morning group, evening group, weekend warriors
By Membership Tier: Basic, premium, elite memberships
By Location: Multiple facilities or training locations
By Age Group: Youth, adult, masters athletes
By Sport: Sport-specific training groups
Selecting a Team for Your Product
When you create a product, you'll select which team your athletes join automatically upon purchase.

This automatic team assignment helps you:
Keep your athlete roster organized
Deliver the right programming to the right groups
Track progress across similar cohorts
Communicate effectively with specific groups
Bridge Tip: Any athlete who purchases your product will be automatically added to the selected team. This eliminates manual roster management and ensures athletes receive their programming immediately.
Creating a New Team from the Product Page
If you're creating a new product that doesn't align with your current teams, you can add a new team directly from the product page:
Click on the team selection dropdown in your product settings
Select Create New Team at the top of the team list
Enter your Team Name (up to 9,999 characters)
Choose the appropriate Sport from the dropdown (e.g., Personal Training)
Click Confirm to create the team
Your new team will be immediately available for selection, and any athletes who purchase or join this product will be automatically added to it.
Managing Existing Teams
You can select from your existing teams when setting up a product. Use the search bar at the top of the team selection modal to quickly find the team you need when you have many teams created.
Best Practices
Use clear, descriptive team names that immediately communicate the team's purpose
Consider creating teams before launching new products for a smoother setup process
