When you enable payments through Bridge's Business Hub, your transactions are processed through Stripe Express. Your Stripe Express account gives you direct access to manage refunds, update payout information, and access important tax documents.

Understanding Your Stripe Express Dashboard

When you log in to your Stripe Express account, the Home dashboard displays your key financial information at a glance. You'll see your recent earnings, total balance, and upcoming payout schedule. The Recent transactions table shows all customer payments with details like date, status, type, and amount.

Use the left navigation menu to access additional sections:

  • Balance: View current available funds, pending amounts, and payout history

  • Tax forms: Access your 1099 forms and other tax documents

  • Tasks: Complete any required account setup or verification steps

  • Profile: Update your business details and contact information

  • Support: Access Stripe's help resources and contact options

Bridge Tip: Your Home dashboard provides quick visibility into your earnings trends over time and shows when your next payout is scheduled.

Accessing Your Stripe Express Account

To log in to your Stripe Express dashboard, you'll need to follow Stripe's authentication process. If you've never accessed your account or need help logging in, visit Stripe's guide on how to log in to your Stripe Express account.

Bridge Tip: Your Stripe Express login is separate from your Bridge Athletic account. Make sure you have access to the email address associated with your Stripe account.

Managing Refunds

You can process refunds directly through your Stripe Express dashboard, giving you control over customer refunds in real-time. When you initiate a refund, the amount is deducted from your Stripe Express account balance and returned to the customer's original payment method.

Processing a Refund

To issue a refund, navigate to the transaction in your Recent transactions list and follow the refund prompts. For detailed step-by-step instructions, review Stripe's guide on how to manage refunds.

Troubleshooting Failed Refunds

If Stripe can't complete a refund, it's usually because there aren't enough funds in your account's remaining balance to cover the refund amount. Once additional payments are received and your balance is replenished, the refund will process successfully.

Bridge Tip: Keep an eye on your available balance if you need to process refunds. If you're experiencing issues with a refund, contact Bridge support at support@bridgeathletic.com for assistance.

Updating Your Bank Account Information

If you need to change where your payouts are deposited, you can update your bank account or debit card information directly in Stripe Express. Learn how to make these changes in Stripe's guide on updating your bank account or debit card for payouts.

Bridge Tip: Always verify your new bank account information is correct before saving changes to avoid payout delays.

Accessing Your 1099 Tax Form

If you're a U.S.-based coach who has earned income through Bridge, you can access your 1099 tax form through your Stripe Express account. Find detailed instructions in Stripe's guide on where to locate your 1099 tax form.
