How to assign more than one training session for athletes to complete in a single training day

There are two ways to assign two workouts per day and it depends on the type of program you've assigned.

Playlist Programs: Assigning multiple workouts

The most straight-forward way to assign multiple training sessions per day is to assign a playlist program. With a playlist program, your athletes can choose the workouts and complete them at their own pace.

Please take a look at this video to see how your athletes can do this on their devices:

As an example, this coach is programming for a Men's Soccer team. The coach would like to assign a morning conditioning session followed by an afternoon lifting session to compliment the training schedule for their sport. The athletes will have two sessions on Monday and Wednesday for the month of November.

Their current phase will show up as a list of workouts. You can edit the titles of the workouts to reflect their schedule and add notes in to the phase with specific instructions to keep athletes on track.

Calendar Programs: Assigning Multiple Programs

For calendar programs you will need to have multiple different programs assigned to the athletes. There isn't a way to assign two training sessions for one single day on their calendar.

If we are following the same scenario where the coach is assigning morning conditioning and afternoon weights for their soccer team then they will need to assign a separate conditioning program and a separate lifting program for the athlete to toggle between.

Here is the athletes view of their calendar. You can see that there are two separate programs but both programs are assigned for November 23rd.

The screenshot below is showing that the athlete has completed their first workout of the day and will be able to open and begin their afternoon lift when they are ready to train again.

Scheduling the two separate calendar programs is a great way for coaches to see if the athletes have missed a workout or not, especially if they are required to follow a strict schedule or if you need to provide attendance for the head sports coach.
