Setting Up and Recovering Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Bridge

Add a second layer of login security, and know what to do if you or a member loses access to it.

Written by Lauren Johnson

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requires a second form of verification when logging into Bridge on the web or mobile app, in addition to your password. Each member of an organization enables MFA individually.

Below, we'll walk through how to set it up and what to do if you or a member ever loses access to their MFA method:

How to set up MFA in Bridge

  1. Log into Bridge on the web

  2. Click your name in the top-right corner and select Settings

  3. Scroll to Password and find Multi-Factor Authentication

  4. Click Manage

  5. Choose you MFA method: Email, One Time Password Generator, or both

Recovering Access

If you lose access to your email or Authenticator app, you won't be able to complete the login. Reach out to your admin — they can send you a recovery token to log back in.

How to Send a Recovery Token (Admin Only)

Admin users can send a recovery token to any member registered with MFA directly from the Security tab.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner and select Settings

  2. Navigate to the Security tab

  3. Find the member's name in the list — members registered for MFA will show a recovery button next to their name.

  4. Click Initiate Recovery to send a recovery token to that member's email

Bridge Tip: If you're an admin and need a recovery token for your own account, reach out to us at support@bridgeathletic.com and we'll help you regain access.
