Table of Contents

Free Products

Free products serve as an excellent entry point for coaches looking to build their audience and demonstrate value before transitioning to paid offerings.

When to Use Free Products

  • Lead generation: Attract new athletes and showcase your coaching expertise

  • Community building: Create a loyal following before launching paid products

  • Sample offerings: Provide a taste of your full programming to encourage upgrades

  • Promotional periods: Offer limited-time free access to drive engagement

Best Practices for Free Products

Free products work best when they provide genuine value while naturally leading to your paid offerings. Consider offering foundational programs, assessment tools, or introductory content that demonstrates your coaching philosophy.

One-Time Payments

One-time payments provide immediate revenue for coaches offering standalone programs or services that don't require ongoing access.

Typical Price Range: $30-$300+ depending on complexity and results

Examples of When to Use One-Time Payments

  • Specialized programs: Sport-specific training camps or skill development training

  • Seasonal offerings: Pre-season conditioning programs or off-season maintenance plans

  • Workshop-style content: Technique clinics or educational seminars

  • Assessment services: Movement screens or fitness evaluations

Auto Deactivation with One-Time Payments

One-time payment products can utilize Auto Deactivation to automatically remove athlete access after a specified period. This feature ensures your content maintains its value while providing clear program boundaries.

Subscription Pricing

Subscription pricing creates predictable recurring revenue and works best for ongoing coach-client relationships with continuously updated content.

Typical Price Range: $80-$500+, depending on services rendered

Examples of When to Use Subscription Pricing

  • Ongoing coaching: Monthly or quarterly programming updates

  • Comprehensive platforms: All-access passes to your entire content library

  • Community-driven programs: Monthly challenges with group interaction

  • Progressive training systems: Programs that build over multiple months

Subscription Benefits

  • Predictable revenue: Stable monthly income for business planning

  • Deeper relationships: Extended engagement with athletes over time

  • Content value: Justify premium pricing through ongoing updates and support

  • Retention focus: Encourages creating consistently valuable content
