Choosing Between Group and Individual Program Assignments

When creating a product page, coaches can decide whether athletes join a group program or an individual program after purchasing. By default, new product pages are set to group program assignments.

Here’s a breakdown of how both options work.

Where to do this:

On your product page, you’ll select whether the program will be a group or individual assignment.

How it works:

Group Program Assignment

All athletes who purchase the program will be added to the same group program. This option is ideal if you don't need to make individual updates or if you prefer to manage the program as a whole.

Examples:

  • “Hands-off” Program: Use this for programs that you don't plan to update frequently. It keeps your library tidy with just one program listing, and every athlete who purchases it will be added to this group.

  • Workout of the Week Programs: If you regularly update the program (e.g., adding new phases), group assignment allows you to make a single update that automatically applies to all athletes in the group.

Note: Athletes will not see who else is assigned to this program

Library View: You’ll see the program linked to the online store. After the first purchase, you'll see the assigned program with the product name at the end. Each new purchase will be added to this group program.

Individual Program Assignment

Each time an athlete purchases the program, a new, separate copy is created and assigned just to them. The program name will include the athlete's name in your library for easy identification. This option is best if you need to make individual updates or adjustments.

Examples:

  • Personalized Coaching: Ideal for programs that include personalized adjustments, such as injury modifications or specific focus areas. This allows you to tailor updates for each athlete.

  • Hybrid Program: If you’re working with an athlete both in person and remotely, individual assignments facilitate easy updates specific to their needs.

Library View: You’ll see the main program linked to the online store and separate individual programs for each purchase.
