What are Briink Credits (BC)?

Briink Credits (in short BC) serve as the currency for accessing and using various platform features.

Whether you're working on questionnaires, generating responses, or completing tasks within ESRS frameworks, your credits ensure you can seamlessly continue your work. Here’s a detailed look at how credits work, what they’re used for, and how they are applied depending on your chosen plan.

How to get Briink Credits (BC)

There are two main ways to get more credits for your Briink workspace.

  1. Add new member seats: Each time you add a new member seat to your workspace, you'll receive an allocation of credits. These credits are shared across your entire workspace, giving your team more resources to complete tasks and run assessments. To find out how many credits come with each new seat, check the "Included credits per seat" section on the Pricing page or Plans page.

  1. Using additional credits: If you exceed the credits available in your workspace, you can still use additional credits on a pay-as-you-go basis.

When running assessments that require more credits than you currently have as part of your shared credit pool, you will be able to keep using Briink. Your account will be charged for the extra credits you used at the end of the billing cycle.

How Briink Credits (BC) are applied

The credit system on Briink is simple: each credit gives you access to a specific screening or assessment tool.

  • 1 Credit = 1 AI Answer: For any questionnaire you create, each AI answer will cost 1 credit. This ensures you can thoroughly analyze the data and gather the insights you need.

  • 1 Credit = 1 Chat response: Each document chat response will cost 1 credit.

  • ESRS datapoint: If you’re working within the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), each datapoint (e.g. assessment row) associated with ESRS will cost a variable number of credits. Please check the conversion table below for more details on the equivalence.

Please note: you’ll only be charged when a response or chat message or data point is successfully generated, meaning you will not be charged any credit for failed requests.

While we recommend enabling pay-as-you-go, as it will prevent your plan users from being blocked once reaching the shared amount of credits limit, by disabling it you will avoid automatic charges. If you'd like to turn off this feature, simply reach out to your dedicated account manager, who will assist you with disabling it according to your preferences.
