Adding members to your Briink workspace is quick and easy. Whether you’re managing a small team or a larger group, there are two practical ways to invite new members: through the main navigation menu or from the workspace settings.
Here’s a step-by-step guide for both methods, plus a breakdown of what members and admins can do in the workspace.
Method 1: Add workspace members from the main navigation menu
Click on your workspace name
In the upper left corner of your screen, click on your workspace name to open the workspace menu.Select "Invite a colleague"
In the dropdown menu, you’ll see an option labeled "Invite a colleague." Click on it to start inviting new members.Click the "Invite People" Button
On the “Members” page, click the "Invite People" button.Enter email and set role
A dialog window will appear. Type in the email address of the person you want to invite. You can then assign them a role by selecting either "Member" or "Admin." Once that’s done, send the invitation.
Method 2: Add workspace members from workspace settings
Go to workspace settings
Access your workspace settings by clicking on the settings icon.Click on "Members"
In the settings menu, you’ll find a "Members" section. Click on it to see a list of all current members and options to invite more.Follow the same Steps as method 1
Once in the "Members" section, simply follow steps 2–4 from Method 1 to invite people and assign their roles.
Workspace roles and permissions
What can Members do?
Workspace members can create assessments, upload documents, and manage resources. However, they don’t have access to manage billing or invite new members to the workspace.
What can Admins do?
Admins have full control over the workspace. In addition to everything members can do, admins can manage billing, payment methods, and invite or remove members from the workspace.
Important: Before making turning a workspace member into an “admin”, make sure to check whether they have the appropriate permissions to manage payment and billing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I restrict resource access to specific members?
No, at the moment, all members in a workspace can see and access shared resources, such as assessments, documents, and templates.
Each resource will have the name of the creator next to it. If you want to make changes to a private template, it's always a good idea to ask the creator for permission.
I want to be invited to a workspace - how can I do it?
Currently, you can not request access to a given workspace directly from Briink. You will need to contact your workspace administrator to get access to your workspace.
