You probably got this article from your outfitter sharing how to get started on their new system or from another guide who thought the app is useful. This app is specified designed for guides to manage their calendars, bookings, documents, guide reports et al under one roof. We are trying to make it the best possible app it can be, so please provide feedback to us or your outfitter.

Step 1: Download the Brindlechute Guide App
Install the app on your phone:

After installing the app, open the Brindlechute Guide App and sign up using the same email address your outfitter used to invite you.
Once you submit, we send a code to your email inbox to verify. The email will have the subject: "Your one-time login code for Brindle". You need this code -- Enter in or copy/paste the code in passcode field.

Boom. You will be redirected to the guide app. Once you're in, click the profile (Me) at the bottom right then click your Name to edit your details.
You now have an account! Go to the next step to ensure you share your availability with your outfitters.
STEP 2: Connect with outfitter and accept outfitter invites
Connected Outfitters
These are outfitters using Brindlechute. You connect to them by accepting their invites to work with their organization. This is super valuable because it automates sharing your availability with your outfitter from your calendar. It also allows payments to be direct deposited when enabled.
Note: Calendar availability sharing only shows blocked days or times and does not reveal who you are working for.
Go to connect outfitters and find your outfitter and click accept.
Boom, you are connected to your outfitter.
If you do not see your outfitter, ask them to invite you by looking up your name in the database on their end.
STEP 3: Connect your bank to get paid!
Why This Matters
Fast, direct payments – once you’re set up, any outfitter you connect with on Brindlechute can pay you.
Tax forms come from your outfitters – Brindlechute does not issue 1099s. Each outfitter handles their own tax reporting, so any 1099 you receive comes from the outfitter who paid you.
Full visibility – you can track all payouts from all outfitters under the Payments tab in your Guide App.
Email notifications – you’ll get an email when an outfitter schedules a payment, and another when the funds hit your Stripe account.
Quick turnaround – once funds land in Stripe, the money will arrive in your connected bank account in 1–2 business days.
What you need to get verified and connect
Have your SSN handy
If you have a LLC or entity have an EIN ready to submit
You can login into your bank to connect it, but have your bank routing number or account number in case you have to enter manually
Note the processor may ask you for your website URL, you can click "no url" but you'll need to detail what you do -- e.g. I provided guided fishing experiences to tourists on local rivers and lakes in the state of Montana as an independent contractor.
Instructions to set up:
Open the Brindlechute Guide App.
Go to Settings → Bank Settings.
Start the Stripe sign-up flow and follow the steps.
Stripe will ask for some personal info for legal verification.
Don’t have a website? No problem — click “Don’t have a URL?” and enter a short description.
Be sure to enter accurate information to avoid delays.
Connect your bank account — it’s secure, easy, and powered by Stripe, a trusted global payments platform.
After submitting, Stripe typically verifies accounts within 1–2 business days. Once verified, you’ll see a ✅ green checkmark on your Bank Settings screen in the app.
Already expecting a payment?
If your outfitter has already initiated a payment before your bank account is connected, don’t worry — it will be held securely and delivered as soon as your account is verified.
