If a client already signed a waiver or uploaded a document, like a fishing license, you can attach that copy to their current trip. They don't have to complete it again. This helps with repeat clients. It also helps when you change a trip's experience and its waivers and documents show as required again.
How to reuse a previous waiver or document
Open the trip.
From Bookings: click Bookings in the left sidebar, click the booking to open it, then click View trip.
From the Trip calendar: click Trip calendar in the left sidebar, click the trip, then click View trip detail in the pop-up.
Under Manage trip by day, find the client and click Complete task, or click the red Incomplete tag next to their name.
In the panel that opens, find the required item under Waivers or Documents.
For a waiver, click Select previous waiver and choose the one the client already signed.
For a license or other document, click Select previous document and choose the one the client already uploaded.
Repeat for each required item and each client. Once everything required is attached, the client's tag changes to Complete.
Good to know
The dropdown only lists earlier copies of the same waiver or document. If the trip now requires a different waiver, for example after changing to an experience with its own waiver, the old one won't appear and the client needs to sign the new one.
Waivers are attached exactly as signed. For documents, Brindlechute's AI may read the file and show the details it found for you to review.
Questionnaires don't have a previous option.
Only outfitter staff and guides see these dropdowns. Clients completing their own tasks don't.
To see every waiver and document a client has completed, open the client from Clients in the left sidebar and go to Documents. This view is read-only, so you can't attach anything to a trip from there. See Search past client documents and files.
