Time-aware pricing lets you set different rates for the same experience based on when the trip takes place. You can set custom seasons with specific date ranges — perfect for peak season increases, off-season discounts, or any rate change you plan ahead.
How Time-Aware Pricing Works
When creating or editing an experience, the first option under Price Settings is Time-Aware Settings.
Toggle Off: One price applies to all bookings, regardless of when the trip takes place.
Toggle On: Set unique pricing for custom seasons you define.
After turning it on, you'll see a Default tab and the option to + Add Season. Each season gets:
A season name (e.g., "Peak Season 2026" or "Spring Rates")
A date range (start and end date)
Its own pricing model and rate fields
Your Default pricing applies to any booking that falls outside a defined season's date range.
How It Applies in Bookings
When adding the experience to a booking, Brindlechute automatically applies the correct rate based on the trip date.
Example: Default rate is $750, but Season 1 (Jan 2 – Apr 1, 2026) is set to $775.
A trip booked within that date range will automatically reflect the seasonal rate.
Dates outside any defined season fall back to your default pricing.
This keeps itineraries accurate and makes it easy to manage rate changes in advance — without any manual adjustments at booking time.
