Steps to Set Up
Open the Guide App
Go to Bank Settings, under the Set-Up Stripe Account section. Click Set Up Now.Verify Your Identity
Stripe will ask you to verify a phone number and enter your basic details as an independent contractor.Skip the Bank Search
When asked to link your bank, scroll to the bottom and click the blue text:
“Enter bank details manually.”Add Your Info
Enter your routing and account numbers directly. That’s it!
Why Manual Entry Works Best
Stripe’s bank search tool doesn’t always recognize small credit unions. Manual entry avoids bugs, speeds up verification, and gets you ready to receive payments from outfitters with no delay.
Note: Stripe may ask you to verify your bank account through micro deposits. This is usually done by sending two very small deposits (often about $0.01 each) to your bank account. You'll need to check your bank statement for these amounts and confirm them in your Stripe account to complete the verification process.
