How To Reschedule a Trip

Quickly reschedule trips without canceling — update the date and choose whether to notify your client or save the change silently.

When conditions change or clients need flexibility, you can reschedule a trip in Brindlechute without canceling the booking. Depending on your situation, you can notify the client automatically or save the change without sending anything.

This guide emphasizes how to manage bookings and scheduled payments discreetly, ensuring client notifications are only sent when necessary.

You can reschedule a trip from a desktop or mobile browser. The mobile steps are below.

Step 1: Open the Booking

  1. Navigate to the client's booking.

  2. Click to view trip details.

  3. Select Manage Booking, then click Edit.

Step 2: Change the Trip Date

  1. Select the date field and choose the new trip date.

  2. Click Save in the top right corner of the page.

  3. Click Confirm when prompted.

Step 3: Choose Whether to Notify the Client

When the Confirm update to booking window appears, you have two options:

  • To notify the client — click Send An Invoice or Send Invoice to email them an updated invoice automatically.

  • To save without notification — click the X in the top right corner to dismiss the window. Your changes are saved and nothing is sent to the client.

Reschedule a Trip on a Mobile Browser

  1. On the Trip Calendar, tap the trip date to see that day's trips.

  2. Tap the trip.

  3. Tap Manage Booking.

  4. Tap the menu button in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then tap Edit.

  5. Under Experiences, tap the underlined date next to Dates and choose the new trip date.

  6. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

  7. Tap Confirm to apply the change.

If the booking has a scheduled payment

Editing the trip date may affect the remaining balance due date. If you see an Update Scheduled Payment option:

  1. Click Update Scheduled Payment.

  2. Click Update to adjust the payment date.

This updates the schedule only — no notification is sent to the client.
