You may see guides marked as unavailable during assignment—this means they’re already booked on a trip, either by your team or another outfitter using Brindlechute.
But if you've confirmed with the guide directly, you can override this status and assign them to another trip the same day.
How it works
Guides appear as unavailable once assigned to any trip that day.
You can still assign them to a second trip (e.g. morning and evening half-days).
After assigning, they will be listed on both trips that day.
The guide receives a standard assignment email as usual.
Why this matters
Brindlechute surfaces availability to help you schedule quickly and avoid conflicts. But we know outfitters move fast and plans change—so we leave room for flexibility when you’ve confirmed things outside the system.
Best practice
Only override if you’ve already talked to the guide. Brindlechute assumes the assignment is solid once made—and doesn’t double-check for you.
