How to set up stripe in the guide app

Guides set up Stripe in the Guide App under Bank Settings. Choose Individual (or Business if registered) to receive direct payouts securely.

Steps to Set Up Stripe

  1. Open the Me tab (bottom right).

  2. Tap Bank Settings.

    • If Stripe is not connected, you’ll see Set Up Stripe →.

    • If Stripe is connected, you’ll see a green checkmark with “Active” and an option to View Stripe Account →.

  3. Tap Set Up Stripe → and follow the guided steps:

    • Verify with a one time password

    • Select Business Type

      • Most guides will choose Individual

      • If you have a registered guide business, you can select Business

    • Enter your personal details (name, DOB, etc.)

    • Add your bank account for deposits

    • Review and confirm

Notes

  • Stripe may send micro-deposits to confirm your bank account. Be sure to verify them within 10 days, or you’ll need to restart setup.

  • Once connected, all payouts from Brindlechute will be deposited directly into your account.
