Manual trips let you capture outings that weren’t booked through Brindlechute, so your season records stay complete.
Steps to log a manual trip:
Start a new trip
From the Trips tab, tap the black + Trip button in the bottom right.
Step 1: Trip details
Enter a trip nickname (river, event, full/half-day, etc.).
Add trip dates and select the outfitter.
Choose the trip type (float or wade).
Enter the expected payment amount.
Add any notes you’d like tied to the trip.
Tap Next Step.
Step 2: Client info
Fill in the client’s first name, last name, and phone number.
This builds your own client list inside the Guide App for repeat tracking.
Tap Save.
Review and manage
The trip now appears in your Trips tab and Calendar.
Open it anytime to see details or client info.
Once you’re paid by the outfitter, mark the trip as Paid to keep your ledger current.
Why log manually?
Even if trips happen outside Brindlechute, logging them in the Guide App keeps all clients, trips, and payments in one place. The app also works offline—everything syncs once you’re back in service.
