Understand View Report vs. Submit Report in the Guide App

View Report shows completed trip details in the Guide App. Review attendance, locations, and ratings—or flag errors for your outfitter, who can edit or delete the report on your behalf.

The Guide App displays different options depending on the status of a trip report. Here's a breakdown of what View Report and Submit Report each mean.

View Report

If you see View Report, it means the trip report has already been submitted.

What You’ll See in View Report

  • Which clients were marked as attending.

  • The launch and takeout used (or launch point for wade trips).

  • The star rating for fishing.

  • Any comments entered.

  • Trip date and outfitter information.

If Something Looks Wrong

If you notice any discrepancies, reach out to your outfitter. They can edit the report directly or delete it and allow you to resubmit a corrected version.

Submit Report

If you see Submit Report (black button), it means no report has been filed yet.
