Understand How Multi-Day Trips with Non-Activity Days Display on Your Calendar

Shows how Brindlechute displays multi-day trips with arrival/departure days—clients see all days, outfitters only see activity days for clean scheduling.

When you configure a multi-day experience with arrival and departure days set to no activity, Brindlechute separates how the trip appears on your calendar versus in the booking details. This keeps scheduling clean without losing clarity.

What Happens When You Book the Trip

When a multi-day trip is booked, Brindlechute creates the full date span—arrival day → activity days → departure day—exactly as configured. All days are stored with their correct activity settings.

What the Outfitter Sees

On the outfitter calendar, you will only see activity days.
Arrival and departure days are hidden so you can focus on assigning guides and preparing for the days with actual activities.

If you click into Manage Booking or View Trip Detail, you will see the full date range, including arrival and departure days, exactly as the client sees it.

What the Client Sees

The client itinerary always displays the full span of the trip:

  • Arrival day

  • Each activity day

  • Departure day

This gives clients a complete timeline of their stay and helps them plan travel, expectations, and activities.
