How to use the Trips tab to spot what needs attention using trip status and checklist state

Use trip status + checklist state in the Trips tab to spot overdue tasks and confirm readiness fast. A clear view of what needs action across all trips.

The Trips tab lists every trip in your account, and you can use it to quickly identify which trips need action by reading the Itinerary status alongside the checklist state.

Checklist State shows where the trip sits in your workflow (Pre-Trip, Day-Of, Post-Trip).

Trip Status shows whether it’s on track (Ready = green, In Progress = yellow, Overdue = red).

How to interpret what you see

If a trip shows:

  • Pre-Trip (checklist state)

  • Overdue (status in red)

You can use this as a clear signal that something in your pre-trip tasks still needs to be completed. For example:

  • All clients and documents are in, but no guide is assigned

  • A guide is assigned, but some clients or documents are missing

Opening the trip will show exactly what still needs to be done.

If a trip shows:

  • Pre-Trip

  • Ready (green)

You’re all set for that stage—no additional tasks are required.

Why this helps

Using the Trips tab this way lets you scan your entire trip list and immediately understand what’s overdue, what’s progressing, and what’s truly ready. It’s a fast, reliable workflow check without opening each trip individually.
