Setting up ACH debit is required before you can pay guides through Brindlechute. It supports Guide Payroll and keeps your payout flow organized. Brindlechute allows you to connect one bank account for all ACH activity—or separate accounts for client transactions and guide payouts if you prefer more control.
How to Set It Up
Click your outfitter name in the top left to open Organization settings, then select Payment settings.
Under Set Up Payouts, you’ll see two options:
ACH Debit for Client Transactions
ACH Debit for Guide Payments
Click the arrow under each category to access your stripe account.
If you want client transactions and guide payments to pull from different bank accounts, update your bank connections directly in your Stripe dashboard. Brindlechute will reflect the correct setup automatically.
Adding Your Bank Account
Once you’re in the Stripe setup flow, click Add Bank Account and enter your contact details. You then have two ways to connect the account:
Search for your bank using the provided tool, or
Enter your bank details manually — account and routing numbers.
Confirm to finish. This authorizes ACH debits, so funds can be securely transferred to pay your guides.
What You’ll See Once Connected
After setup, Brindlechute displays a green status bar that reads:
Set Up
Bank account ending in XXXX
If you’re using two different accounts, each ACH section will display its own last four digits. If both use the same account, you’ll see the same identifier listed twice.
If You’re Not Paying Guides Through Brindlechute:
If guide payroll is not enabled for your operation, the ACH debit section for guide payments will still show your standard ACH bank account. You’ll also see Pay guides through Brindlechute toggled off under the bank account number, confirming that no guide payouts will run through the system.
