Just like experiences, add-ons use your default sales tax settings. If an add-on needs different tax rules—such as removing a tax or using a custom rate—you can override the sales tax directly on that add-on.
Steps to override sales tax for add-ons:
From your Dashboard, click Add-ons.
Select the add-on you want to edit.
On the Sales Tax section, toggle Override to add or remove sales taxes.
You can remove any tax categories that don’t apply to this add-on, adjust the tax rate just for this add-on, or add a new sales tax if needed.
Click Save.
Once saved, this add-on will use its own sales tax rules instead of the defaults. This ensures clients are charged the correct taxes and see an accurate breakdown on their invoice.
