Time Configuration lets you control how an experience books your guides' time—full-day trips, shorter trips with specific start times, and now schedules that change by season.
How to Access Time Configuration
Go to Products → Experiences.
Click the experience you want to update (or create a new one).
Scroll down to Experience Time Configuration.
This is where you choose how the trip will block your guide's time.
Option 1: All Day Block
Use this for full-day trips where the guide shouldn't be booked for anything else that day.
When you select All Day Block:
Any guide assigned to this trip is blocked for the entire day.
The guide won't be available for other bookings on that date.
Ideal for traditional full-day fishing trips. You can customize the experience title to note whether it's a full or half day.
This is the simplest option for day-long trips.
Option 2: Scheduled Times
Use this for trips that run at set times—half-day trips, lessons, or shorter guided experiences. Guide time is blocked at the hourly level, so a guide can serve multiple trips in one day.
Set Start Time & Duration
Set the Duration (for example, 4 or 8 hours).
Under Set selectable start time (meetup time), add your start times with + Add start time (for example, 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM).
Add Buffer Time (Optional)
Add a Buffer before the start (for prep) and a Buffer after the end (for cleaning gear, travel, etc.). Buffers keep guides from being scheduled too close together.
Each start time shows its full window inline, so an 8-hour trip displays 8 AM – 4 PM · 8 hours. Brindlechute calculates the end time automatically from the duration you set.
Set Times by Season (Optional)
Your start times default to year-round. To run different hours at different times of year, click + Add season under Start time and duration and set start times and a duration for that season. The Default schedule covers any dates a season doesn't.
For example:
Winter — Start later in the day (say 9:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM) when daylight comes late.
Summer — Add earlier starts or a longer duration to make the most of long days.
Shoulder season — Offer fewer start times or a shorter window.
