Once an experience has a time configuration (like a set start/end time or an all-day block), Brindlechute shows that timing in two key places: your Trip Calendar and your Assignments view. This makes it easy to understand how long a trip runs and when a guide is needed.
Where to See Trip Times on the Trip Calendar
Go to Trip Calendar and switch to Guide View.
Find the trip on the calendar.
What you’ll see:
Timed trips (hour-based / half-day): the trip card shows the booked time range (for example, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
Full-day trips (All Day Block): the trip displays as All Day.
Where to See Trip Times in Assignment
Go to Assignment.
Click the trip.
Scroll down to Time and Duration.
What you’ll see:
Timed trips (hour-based / half-day): a time range (for example, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) plus the total length (for example, 4 hours).
Full-day trips (All Day Block): All Day.
How It Appears in the Daily Assignment Timeline
You can also view guide availability from the Daily view inside the Trip Calendar.
Go to Trip Calendar.
At the top of the calendar, select Daily view.
Then click Assignment Timeline
In the daily assignment timeline, each guide will show a status that helps you quickly understand their availability:
Blocked – The guide is booked for a full-day trip, so their entire day is unavailable.
Partial – The guide has a timed trip (such as a 4-hour or half-day trip). They may still be available for another trip later in the day.
Open – The guide has no trips scheduled and is available to be booked.
This view helps you quickly see which guides are fully booked and which ones still have room for additional trips.
Clear time display helps you avoid double bookings, understand guide availability, and quickly confirm trip details. Whether it’s a 4-hour morning trip or a full-day block, you can see exactly what’s scheduled—right from your calendar and assignments.
