When Does Brindlechute Charge Offline Payment Fees

Learn when Brindlechute charges the offline payment processing fee and where you can view those debits in your account.

If you record offline payments in Brindlechute—such as checks, cash, or bank transfers—an offline payment processing fee applies. Instead of charging the fee immediately each time you log a payment, Brindlechute groups these fees together and debits them once per month.

How Offline Payment Fees Work

  1. Log an Offline Payment
When you record an offline payment in Brindlechute, the applicable offline payment fee is automatically recorded in your account.

  2. Fees Accumulate Throughout the Month
Any offline payment fees incurred during the month are grouped together into a single total.

  3. Monthly Debit via ACH
On the 1st day of the following month, Brindlechute automatically debits the total amount of those fees from your account via ACH.

Example

If you log several offline payments during April, the related fees will accumulate throughout that month.

On May 1, Brindlechute will debit the combined total of those fees in a single transaction.

Where to View Offline Payment Fee Charges

You can review these charges anytime from your dashboard:

  1. Go to Payments

  2. Select Account Debits

Each charge will be clearly labeled “Offline Payment Fee.”

Bundling offline payment fees into a single monthly debit keeps your billing simple and easy to track. If you ever have questions about a debit or how fees are calculated, the Brindlechute team is always happy to help.
