When a customer books multiple dates online, everything stays within a single booking—but each date is split into its own trip on the itinerary. This is especially helpful when dates are spaced apart, ensuring each trip is clearly organized and scheduled correctly.
What This Means for You
Each trip appears on its actual scheduled date—even if bookings are spaced apart
Bookings with gaps between dates (like Apr 3–5 and Apr 9) are no longer grouped together
Trips do not stretch across unrelated days on the calendar
Each trip is clearly listed on the itinerary with its own details
How It Works
A customer books an experience through your online booking page
If the booking includes multiple dates—whether consecutive or spaced apart—the system separates them into individual trips
Each date becomes its own trip entry
These trips are placed on the correct dates in your calendar and shown individually in the itinerary
Where to See This
Calendar: Each trip appears on its exact scheduled date (no more spreading across gaps)
Itinerary: Trips are listed separately, even if they were booked together
Bookings Page: The booking stays grouped, but each trip inside it is clearly split
Not seeing a trip where you expect it? Each trip appears on the date set inside the booking. If a trip seems to be missing from your calendar or from guide assignments, open the booking and check the date on each trip—a trip set to a different date, even a different month, will appear on that date instead. Updating the trip's date within the booking moves it to the correct day.
Why This Helps
Keeps your calendar accurate, especially for bookings with gaps between dates
Prevents confusion from trips appearing across incorrect days
Makes assigning guides and managing logistics much easier
Gives a clear, day-by-day view of all scheduled trips
By automatically splitting trips, your calendar stays clean and each trip is scheduled exactly where it belongs, helping you stay organized and in control.
