When you manage experiences in Brindlechute, it helps to understand how configuration changes — such as trip type or pricing — apply to your bookings. As a general rule, updates affect only bookings created after the change. Existing bookings keep the terms that were in place when they were made.
Trip type updates
When you change the trip type for an experience, the new trip type applies only to bookings created after the change. Trips booked beforehand keep their original trip type and are not updated automatically, so existing bookings stay consistent with the terms agreed upon at the time of booking.
Pricing updates
Pricing changes work the same way. A new price applies only to bookings made after the update. Existing bookings stay locked at the price that was in place when they were booked, which keeps things transparent and fair for customers who have already booked.
Configuration changes are forward-looking: they shape new bookings without altering trips that are already on the books.
